Claudia Zhao is a partner at Beijing Jincheng Tongda & Neal (Shanghai) Law Firm, a member of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL), and the Law Association for Asia and the Pacific (LAWASIA), a council member of the China Society of Private International Law, a member of the research committee for civil cases at the Shanghai Lawyers Association, an invited mediator at the Professional Mediation Committee of Shanghai Putong New Area, and a volunteer in the Female Volunteers Group at the Shanghai Lawyers Association. Ms. Zhao has been working in this field for nearly 12 years, and has mainly been engaged in civil and commercial lawsuits and litigation involving foreign aspects. She offers scholarly opinions on transnational cases for national courts and has conducted in-depth research on international private law.
Ms. Zhao has published many well-received professional works, including Foreign Marriages and Family Affairs, which was published by Law Press. Meanwhile, she has published many articles, among which IPOs and Marriage won second prize in the National In-Depth Report of Good Legal News, co-organized by the National Law Office and the All-China Legal Journalists’ Association. Her Study on Civil Lawsuits was praised as an “Outstanding Paper” at the Shanghai Litigation Law Research Conference held by the Shanghai Litigation Law Research Association and the Shanghai Higher People’s Court.
