Head of the Financial Services Division | The Economic Development Board
Faraz Rojid currently heads the Financial Services division of the Economic Development Board. He holds an LL. B (Hons.) from the University of London, and an LL.M in International Economic Law from the School of Law of the University of Barcelona.
He was a legal intern in the SPS Division of the World Trade Organization in Geneva; a Legal Consultant for the Investment Division of the United Nations in Geneva; and an Investment Executive at the Board of Investment of Mauritius. He was previously the Officer-in-Charge of the ex-Financial Services Promotion Agency (FSPA).
Faraz has authored and co-authored articles in trade and investment laws in transnational journals and United Nations publications, including the World Investment Report 2012 and the International Investment Agreements Negotiators Handbook.
